Snowflakes

These earrings have a white enamel base. Once the white base has been fired and cooled I’ve d added a beautiful Christmas snowflake decal, letting it dry overnight.

Decals are very finicky things and can easily burn a become an awful mess.

The kiln temperature must be lowered to just below 700 degrees to achieve a perfect firing.
Once fired and cooled I file the edges to remove any fire scale and then buff until smooth and shiny.

The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel in my studio in the Yarra valley Australia 🇦🇺

Each earring measures 2.4cm long x 1.6cm wide
Total drop of these earrings, from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the enamel piece is 3.6cm long
