Seed pod enamel earrings

These earrings are hand cut and formed into domed shapes that I think look like seed pods.
Once I was happy with the shape I used a dimpling tool to texture the inside of the earrings.
I’ve then added liquid enamel in white, once dry they get fired in my kiln until I get the effect I’m after. The next step is to add a couple of different transparent green enamels to the inside of the earrings to get this beautiful teal colour.
The back of these earrings could also be the front !!!
The colours on the back of these earrings are achieved by using liquid enamel in white and some gold leaf to add depth.
These earrings can be easily flipped around so the back becomes the front !!!

Each earring measures 4.2cm long and 1.8cm wide

*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel
