Rock pools

These copper, oval earrings are hand cut and shaped, the dimples at the bottom of each earring are applied using dimpling pliers.
White liquid enamel is applied for the first layer., before firing I make sure to remove the enamel from the dimples to expose the copper.
Fired and cooled I’ve then added transparent copper green and glass green to the top half of the earrings along with a sprinkle of crackle lump enamel. When fired the crackle lumps help to ‘move’ the enamel to form the cells.
Once all the firing is done I use my dremel to clean up the exposed copper dimples.
These earrings measure 3 cm long and 2cm wide.
The total drop length from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 4.2 cm long
