Sand and sea

To me these earrings look like a stormy sea crashing on the rocks.
Each earring has a pine yellow base, once fired and cooled I’ve added lumps of glass in shades of green, these are then fired into the yellow base.
The lumps never fully melt so once the earrings cool down I use a diamond file to smooth the lumps and remove any sharp pieces.
The next step was to add crackle lumps to the top half of each earring and then sprinkle a layer of storm blue enamel powder, firing again until molten, the crackle lumps helping to expose the yellow from under the blue, the sand and the sea.
These earrings are slightly domed

Each enamel component measures 4cm in length and 1cm wide
The total drop of each earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 5.2cm long

*The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel
