Orange and blue splash

These hand cut copper triangle shaped earrings are firstly enamelled with a pale blue base.
Once cooled I’ve added lumps of glass in orange and blue and fired in my kiln at 800 degrees until the glass has fused to the base.
The final step is to smooth out the lumps that are still raised and to clean up the edges until smooth and shiny, the earring’s go in for a final firing.
Each earring measures 3.5cm long and 1.8cm wide

These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel The total drop length of the earrings from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the enamel component is 5cm long
*The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
