Green flowers

The copper discs are enamelled with a white base. Once fired and cooled I’ve added shards of glass in shades of greens and fired until fused to the white base. I’ve then added millefiori glass flowers to the white base and fired again.
Each earring is filed using a diamond file to smooth out any glass lumps that had not fully melted into the white base.
A final firing brings the glossy shine back after the filing.
These earrings measure 2.1cm in diameter.
The total drop of the earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the enamelled disc is 3.5cm long.
