These copper discs are heated and folded in half, re heated and opened up to reveal a crease across the centre of the disc.
I’ve then added little holes randomly on the bottom half if the disc.
The Holey bottom half is enamelled with a white powdered enamel and the top is a mix of white, transparent blue and sea foam green as well as some crackle lumps to help with the separation to form the watery pattern.
The back of the earrings are enamelled with two layers of black powdered enamel

Once all firings are done I use a diamond file and my dremel to remove any fire scale on the edges of the earring and the exposed copper crease through the centre, buffing until smooth and shiny.

Each earring measures 2.2cm in diameter

The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
