Dimpled copper earrings with amazonite gemstone

These earrings are cut and shaped from an old copper tray I found in a second hand store on my travels ☺️
I’ve used a mix of both liquid and powdered enamel in white to get this effect.
When These two whites are fired together they have a tendency to turn a gorgeous antique green , this could almost be my favourite enamel effect. !!!!
Before firing the earrings I make sure to remove any enamel on the parts of the earrings that I want to expose the copper.
Firing in my kiln for a slightly longer time than usual to get the desired effect , the white turning to green.
Once fired and cooled I clean up the edges and buff the exposed copper to a high shine.
I’ve then added a little half round argentium hoop accompanied by an amazonite gemstone
Each earring measures 3.5cm long x 2cm wide.
The total drop measurement from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 5.5cm long

*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel
