Calm waters

These Hand made enamel earrings are cut from copper sheet.
Each earring has a base of white opaque enamel and kiln fired.

Once cooled I’ve added crackle enamel in lump form and a mixture of transparent water blue and opaque isle blue powdered enamel, these are fired together in my kiln at 800 degrees to achieve a watery effect.

*The final step is to file the earrings with a diamond file to remove any fire scale from the edges and buffed until smooth and shiny.

*Each earring measures 2cm x 2cm
*The total drop length of each earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the enamel piece is 3.5cm
*The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel
