Blue seas

These copper disc earrings have an enamel base in sapphire blue.
Once fired and cooled I’ve added a sprinkle of crackle lump enamel and some light blue opaque powder enamel and fired for a second time.
The third layer consists of light and dark blue frit which is then fired to fuse to the two base layers.
Once cooled I’ve cleaned the edges of all fire scale using a diamond file buffed until smooth and shiny.

The back of these earrings are black.

Each earring measures 2cm in diameter
The total drop of the earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the earring is 3.5cm long.

*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel
