Poinsettia #2

*These earrings have a white enamel base. Once the white base has been fired and cooled I’ve d added a beautiful Christmas poinsettia decal, letting it dry overnight.
*Decals are very finicky things and can easily burn a become an awful mess.
*The kiln temperature must be lowered to just below 700 degrees to achieve a perfect firing.
*Once fired and cooled I file the edges to remove any fire scale and then buff until smooth and shiny.
*The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel in my studio in the Yarra valley Australia 🇦🇺
*Each earring measures 2.2cm in diameter
*The total drop length of the earrings are 3.4cm long from the top of the ear hook to the bottom earring
