Abstract enamel disc with silver tear drop

The small discs are enamelled with a white base. Once fired and cooled I’ve added tiny specs of glass to the white base and re fired at 800 degrees in my kiln. Once the glass specs are fused and the discs have cooled I use a diamond file to remove any fire scale from the edges and buff until smooth and shiny.
The hammered silver plated tear drops are then attached to the discs to finish off these stunning earrings.

The enamelling discs measure 1.5cm in diameter.
The total length of the earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the silver tear drop is 6cm long.
The silver tear drop measures 1.8cm wide and 3cm long

The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel
